Does my client need crypto?

Yes. They pay with a crypto wallet such as MetaMask, in USDC on Arc or AUSD on Monad testnet. You don't need either to get started.

Which network is this?

Two. Arc mainnet for real USDC: payments settle in under a second, and fees are paid in USDC. Monad testnet with Agora's AUSD, if you want to try it free first.
